Last week we were approached by the Friends of Royden Park requesting assistance with some the acquisition of aerial images of (some quite possibly ancient) meadows. They are currently inundated by the massively invasive Himalayan Balsam and other not-so-wanted flora.
We joined Helen, Paul and Rosie on a little walk through the woods to this lovely sunny spot. To the passer by it looks like any other bit of slightly overgrown countryside… but it had hidden secrets!
